Funny Stories

after the hard hill workout on Thursday, I couldn't feel my fingers. Honestly, my fingers were frozen in fists from running, and i couldn't move them to save my life. I was lucky enough that Marly had an extra pair of gloves that i was able to use while running, otherwise i don't know what i would have done. But then when i got back, another amazing thing happened. I walked right up to the girls who had finished before me, and asked them if they could help me get my gloves off. Molly, Kati, and Amanda hopped immediately up and started peeling my gloves off my frozen fingers. I was so happy to see that everyone on the team contributes to help everyone else out- i'm not even sure that Amanda knows my name, but she was there helping me before i even finshed asking for their help. We are so lucky to hae a team full of such caring and nice girls. -biz

All we were thinking about on the last 5 minutes back to school that Thursday morning hill workout was how warm we would be inside. It was unbelievably cold but about 7 girls managed to come out that day to have a great workout. After emerging from the small path leading to the freshman soccer fields, we all felt relief to see the school. Although, our run was not over yet. Leading the way through the snowy field I noticed some ice under the surface, so I jumped to the side. Unfortunately it was too dark for the rest of the group to follow quick enough so Michelle came up right behind me and totally wiped out on the ice, hitting her head pretty hard, and bringing down (ENTER NAMES) with her. In the meantime, Jen Prazak and Mr. Hoff laughed too soon because then they took a big fall as well. It was like straight out of a movie and everyone was on the ground laughing after wards. Luckily, I was able to stay on my feet (for once!).
